Who handles your data
TrinityX Motor Club, reachable at contact@trinityx.ch, is the controller. Processing follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for residents of the European Union, the GDPR.
- II
Applications
The form answers (identity, contact details, region, machines, driving habits, motivation, sponsor) are used only to review and answer the application.
- III
Members’ area
For members: profile, garage, event registrations, attendance recorded by scanning the card, dues, card signature, published photos and ads, emergency contact (visible only to organisers during events) and notification preferences. Passwords are hashed and team accounts are protected by two-factor authentication.
- IV
Service providers
The site is hosted in Switzerland. E-mails go through our sending provider, online payments through Stripe (we never see card details), notifications through your browser’s service (Apple, Google, Mozilla). Map backgrounds are served by our own server: your address is not passed on to swisstopo or other map sources. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.
- V
Statistics without cookies
The site counts page views without cookies or identifiers. Unique visitors are estimated per day from an encrypted, irreversible fingerprint erased after 40 days. Nothing is counted when your browser asks not to be tracked (Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control).
- VI
Retention
Unsuccessful application: 12 months after the answer; left unanswered: 24 months. Member data: during membership, then anonymised. Dues and payments: 10 years (accounting obligations). Attendance and card checks: 24 months. E-mail history and read notifications: 12 months. Aggregated statistics: 25 months. Backups: 14 days on the server, 60 days off-site, encrypted.
- VII
On your device
The application draft stays in your browser until you send it. The membership card installed on your phone is kept offline and erased when you sign out. Map backgrounds are cached to display faster.
- VIII
Your rights
In the members’ area (Profile › My data) you can download your data and delete your account at any time. You can also request access, correction or erasure by writing to contact@trinityx.ch, and contact the Federal Data Protection Commissioner (FDPIC) or your supervisory authority.
